What you need to know
OnSiteO lets a provider join as an independent technician or as a crew company. A crew-company owner creates the company profile, invites technicians through their own accounts, bids for eligible work, assigns awarded jobs to active members and coordinates remotely. The owner stays responsible for the company, its people, licensing and quality. Opportunities follow buyer demand and job fit.
Choose the crew-company option
On the provider registration page, choose “A crew company — me plus my own crew of technicians.” Your account becomes the company owner account and keeps its own technician profile. You can also begin as an individual technician and start a crew later from the app.
Build the company carefully
- Choose a real company name and accurate service area.
- Invite each technician to use and accept their own account.
- Keep every member’s skills, availability and required credentials current.
- Decide who handles scheduling, client communication and field supervision.
- Set written terms for how your company engages and pays its workers.
- Maintain the insurance, licenses, registrations and records required for your work and location.
How work moves through OnSiteO
- Review an eligible opportunity and its site, scope, schedule and requirements.
- Bid through the crew-company owner account, including the correct number of technicians when supported.
- After an award, assign the work only to active members who meet the job requirements.
- Each attending technician uses their own account for travel status, check-in, time and completion evidence.
- The client reviews the completed work and approves payment.
- Approved payment for crew work goes to the crew company; the company is responsible for paying its crew.
What remote management does and does not mean
The owner can coordinate scheduling, assignments and client communication from home or another office. The owner builds the operation by recruiting capable people, confirming job fit, resolving problems, maintaining compliance and protecting the client relationship.
Start small
- Begin with services your team already knows.
- Use a realistic travel area.
- Keep the first crew small enough to supervise.
- Accept only work with a clear scope and achievable schedule.
- Review every completed job and correct problems before expanding.
Questions
Straight answers
Can I create a crew company without being the person who visits every site?
Yes. The owner can coordinate the company while active crew members perform awarded onsite work. The assigned members must meet the job requirements and use their own accounts.
Does OnSiteO recruit or employ my crew?
No. The crew company recruits and manages its own people and is responsible for the legal and payment relationship with them.
Does joining guarantee jobs or income?
No. Opportunities depend on real buyer demand, location, qualifications, competition, availability and performance.
Where does an approved crew payment go?
Approved payment for crew work goes to the crew company account. The company then pays its crew under its own agreements and obligations.
Can an individual technician start a crew later?
Yes. An eligible technician account can start a crew company later, provided the person is not already an active member of another crew and crew signup remains open.
