Fieldwork guide
A better visit starts with a better brief.
Use this checklist to turn a general request into something a technician or company can understand.
- Define the city, site type and practical access arrangements.
- Describe the equipment, quantities and exact task.
- Identify supplied materials, tools and access equipment.
- Set the work window and named site or remote contact.
- Explain the required skills, qualifications and crew size.
- Agree pricing basis, payment terms and change approval.
- Specify the tests, photos and documents expected at handover.
Example: a Wi-Fi access-point installation
State the device models, number of access points, mounting surfaces and ceiling heights. Clarify who supplies cabling and hardware, who configures the network, and what testing shows the visit is complete.
This is a planning example, not an open job or a technical installation procedure.
